December note from Dri: Meet Tera

You may have seen her around… leading pageant practice, or subbing in a classroom. You may have even received an email or two from her, but I wanted to take a moment to formally introduce Tera Pianalto, our new Children & Family Ministry Assistant.

Hello! My name is Tera Pianalto and some of you may have heard from me here lately, but I wanted to take a moment to formally introduce myself to everyone. I have recently stepped in as Dri’s assistant and will be primarily helping make sure everything is running smoothly in our children’s ministry!

My husband and I have two young daughters who I homeschool, and we live right here in town. Finding  a community like FPC has been a prayer of ours for our daughters as they grow, and for us as we plant roots here in Siloam. FPC has been a blessing and answered prayer since attending these last several months, and I am so excited for the opportunity to serve the church’s children’s ministry in this way. I look forward to getting to know your families and build community with you all!

We are super excited to have her on board and for the great work she’s already done on the Children’s Christmas Pageant. She will be providing some much needed support to Children and Family ministry, so families can be on the look out for different ways to connect with Tera, particularly on Wednesday evenings. She will also be taking on more of our volunteer scheduling, so if you are a volunteer in Children’s ministry, you’ll probably be seeing more emails from her. And you can also reach out to her if you’d like to volunteer in any of our children’s areas.
