From September 7, 2025 Sermon – Genesis 18:1-15

1) Why are we so prone to hiding?  It may help to consider: a) what are we hiding from, and b) what kinds of things do we hide behind?

2) Do you want to come out of hiding?  Why or why not?  Reflect on the risks and benefits of letting go of the ways we hide.

3) Reflect on why it is so important to open up (to ourselves, to God, and to others) about how and why we hide.

4) Why is learning the “language of the Gospel” so important in our attempts to stop hiding?  How conversant are you in the message of Jesus and why does that matter?  Whose help do you need to become more conversant in speaking and applying the Gospel to your life?
