From September 28, 2025 Sermon – Leviticus 7:11-18

1) What about God’s nature makes his nearness to us problematic? What remedies that problem?

2) Are you at peace with God? How is your answer to that question demonstrated in your life and worship?

3) Why is it so difficult to have a “familiar awe” of God, particularly in worship?  It may be helpful to consider the two pitfalls mentioned in the sermon:                1) disregard and 2) insecurity. 

4) How can we keep both familiarity (delighting in God’s immanence) and awe (delighting in God’s transcendence) together? 

5) What do you need to do this week as you prepare for worship on Sunday?
