Proclamation Institute Zambia is a Bible college in Zambia that our congregation has partnered with and supported for several years. Here is a bit of an update about what’s been going on recently at the school.

In June they had a successful mission week. First year students went to one location and second year students to another, and they partnered with the local congregations to conduct community outreach, evangelize, and preach. They also recently conducted expository Bible training in the Nakonde region and were able to reach both Zambian and Tanzanian pastors with the training.

In August the students took final term exams and had holiday. They returned to PIZ on September 8th to finish the year. They will have graduation and a Bible conference during the first week of November and this year will celebrate 10 years of PIZ! This will be such an exciting time for students finishing the year and for all to celebrate and reflect on God’s faithfulness to PIZ.

Andrew Muwowo, founder of PIZ, who has come to visit and preach at our church, moved back to Zambia from the UK with his wife. He is serving in a volunteer role at the college and continues to support fundraising efforts in the UK and U.S.

– safe travels for conference speakers and attendees in November
– for graduating students to find opportunities for ministry in their home areas
– funds for 2026 to be raised on time
– opportunities for PIZ’s supporters and staff to share the mission of the college
