From October 5, 2025 Sermon – Genesis 20:1-18

1) Why is it so disheartening to come back to the same sin over and over again?  Why would moving forward again feel futile, and how does our view of God’s grace affect whether we would try again or not?

2) How do we as a community help people receive grace and carry on when they face persistent sin?  How do we engage in both truth telling and living out forgiveness?

3) What does this look like when the persistent sin is the whole community’s sin as much as any one individual?  How does a community receive grace and continue on after making the same errors again?  Consider the importance of truth telling and grace empowering us to step into attempts at change.
