From November 2, 2025 Sermon – Luke 19:1-10

1) Why is it so easy for us to make assumptions about other people’s righteousness?  What does that say about our view of ourselves and what we think God requires?

2) What are some examples of ways we set our own criteria for being true “Sons or Daughters of Abraham,” even when it isn’t the same as God’s criteria?  What is God’s criteria?

3) What would it look like for us to demonstrate the extravagant mercy of God towards each other without neglecting the truth of God (which articulates what true life and flourishing look like)?  How might Jesus’ hospitality provide us a model?

4) What is something you (individually or as a small group) can put into practice this week?
