1) Does your life reflect that you are living in light of the promises of God?  Why or why not?  Or perhaps some areas of your life do and some don’t.  Which are which, and why do you think that is the case?

2) Where do you tend to make excuses for the messiness and sin of your life?  Why?  What would it look like if you threw off those excuses and began to live out God’s promises while you deal with your messiness and sin?  For example: What actions would look different?  What do you think would feel better?

3) What kind of situations leave you feeling stuck in a rut, incomplete and unable to move forward?  Why do you think we become so fearful in those situations?  Whose help do you need to keep moving?  How will you seek that help this week?
