Outreach Partner Update: Bright Futures

This month, our outreach focus is on Bright Futures. Bright Futures is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to ensuring students have access to the essential resources needed to support their success in the classroom. We partner with them on many of their initiatives each year, including their backpack and school supply drive, which is coming up soon, as well as their food pantry, winter coat drive and angel tree gifts. It is such a joy to be able to work with them to equip and support the students in our community. Below is a small update from the Siloam Springs Bright Futures director, Tiffany Hansen.

“This spring, Bright Futures will be celebrating our 10th anniversary! As we reflect on a decade of collaboration with our community and school district to address the basic needs of students, we are sincerely grateful for the faithful support of First Presbyterian Church in helping us achieve our mission. Your partnership has been so vital to our success.

We are currently in the process of planning our upcoming backpack distribution and developing the summer plan for our food pantry program. We would appreciate your prayers for careful planning during this time and for the well-being of all the students we serve through these initiatives.”

Thank you to all of you who have participated in the Bright Futures initiatives over the years and we ask for your continued prayers for the work of this organization.
