Outreach Partner Update: Valerie Harder & Ethnos360

This month, our Outreach spotlight is on our own Valerie Harder! You might recall that Valerie said goodbye to First Pres last July and began a new adventure, exploring a call to missions among unreached people groups. Val attended Ethnos360’s Missionary Training Center in central Missouri, a full-time program preparing participants for global career missions.

Valerie is a missionary serving in the USA playing a vital role on the church planting team doing both administrative and hospitality work for Ethnos360 while Mike, her soon to be husband, completes flight training. Like those who serve overseas, USA missionaries are responsible to raise financial support to pay their salary and ministry expenses.

Here are some praises and prayer requests from Valerie:

– Mike and Valerie are getting married in Wichita, Kansas, on July 25th.  They are so looking forward to seeing those that can celebrate with them!

– They are packing up and driving to McNeal, Arizona, and plan to arrive by August 12th.

– Flight training starts for Mike on August 24th, and Val will start her administrative job and pilot wife class around the same time.

– Please pray for safety during training and discernment for them as we navigate whether or not Mike will get trained on helicopters and where they might go overseas long-term.
