1) The big message of the Psalm is that we rejoice in God’s salvation. What does that rejoicing look like in your life? Why might we struggle to rejoice in God’s salvation?
2) This Psalm points us to a salvation that is not our own. We need Christ’s righteousness, Christ’s purity, Christ’s strength, etc. Those who are united to Christ can rejoice in what Jesus has done even as they work on dealing with their unhealthy habits, ignorance, weakness, and even besetting sins. How does relying on Christ’s righteousness, purity, strength, etc. empower us to grow?
3) Are you united to Christ? How do you know? If you aren’t sure, how will you go about finding the answer to that question?
