From August 2, 2026 Sermon – Psalm 20

1) What is so great about Jesus?  Reflect and make a list of several things that stand out to you.

2) What gets in the way of you seeing how great Jesus is?  What are your common distractions or diversions?  Why are these so appealing to you?

3) How would a clearer picture of the greatness of Jesus help you trust him more in times of trouble?

4) How do ordinary means of grace (the sermon mentions three: meditation on Scripture, prayer, growth in godliness) help us see the greatness of Jesus?  Pick one to focus on this week.  Whose help do you need to grow in this area?  How will you get that help this week?
