From March 22, 2026 Sermon – Ephesians 4:7-16

1) Paul’s overarching description of maturity is growing up into Christ-likeness.  How do the efforts of the Church lead to Christ-likeness?  Consider the Church both universally and locally.  Are the Church’s efforts and emphases likely to lead to Christ-likeness?  Why or why not?

2) Considering Paul’s argument from the text, why do you think “Word-ministry” gifts are so critical to maintaining the unity of the Church with all of its God-designed variety of other gifts?

3) The sermon described the unity-with-variety of the church as something like juggling.  There are a variety of objects (the juggling balls) moving in a unified rhythmic dance together.  What is one specific way you can better participate in that unity-with-variety this week?
