From April 19, 2026 Sermon – Ephesians 5:1-14

1) How do you feel about the idea that your ethical habits affect your experience of your life in Christ?  Does that ring true?  Why or why not?

2) Why do you think Paul is focused on our habits of speech?

3) Paul refers to sexually flippant speech in this passage.  What other subjects could similarly cloud our sense of our true identity in Christ?

4) How can we work together to change our communal/corporate speech patterns to reflect who we truly are in Christ?  How can we do that in a way that takes both holiness and grace seriously?
